In November 2024, we won 1st place in UNC Gilling’s Pitch Competition and were awarded $3000 with an addition $5000 in consulting services from Bluedoor Group.

In October 2024, Sensible was asked to speak at the inaugural South Asian Menstrual Equity Day at the UNC School of Medicine. We were honored to share this space with researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and advocates speaking about period poverty and our work to fight the stigma.

Sensible was a finalist for Taco Bell’s Ambition Accelerator and was awarded $1500. We attended the 2024 Ambition Accelerator Conference hosted by the @tacobell Foundation and @ashokachangemakers. We got to hear from 41 other inspiring, young changemakers and had the opportunity to present Sensible to an audience of Taco Bell leadership and other social entrepreneurs. We also visited Taco Bell HQ and learned from corporate leaders on how to run an organization and team.

In September 2023, we had the honor of presenting Sensible’s message at the Women’s Health Innovation Summit in Boston. This summit was an incredible way to immerse ourselves in the Women’s healthtech world and meet so many incredible inventors, while also highlighting our own developing product in the diagnostic biomarker space!

In August 2023, we presented at U-Launch Jumpstart where we were honored to win 1st place and $1500 for our performance, receiving recognition from NC Governor Roy Cooper!

In September of 2022, our team was one of the 10 teams nationally to win the Lemelson-MIT grant. We were awarded $7,500 and invaluable resources to take advantage of. At the very end, we had the extraordinary opportunity to present Sensible at @lemelsonmit’s EurekaFest at MIT in June! Not only did we have lots of fun, we were also able to learn from fellow InvenTeams, inventors, MIT faculty, and more.
We are beyond grateful for all of the support we’ve received from the LemelsonMIT program and the mentorship of Dr. Leigh Estabrooks - @lmitleigh.
